What it do? I just wanted to take the time to thank you all for the support given to myself and direct team. We truly pour our heart and soul into our endeavors so it’s truly refreshing to see that it is cherished. JOSH JAKQ and Jonathan Briu are not only my business partners but brothers that have aided me to be the man that I am now. My only wish is for you to garner such special individuals in your own lives.

As a token of my gratitude, I wanted to provide the hardcore Briu Homme fans a special treat. Jonathan is pretty much a concealed mad scientist and I know tons of you would love to know a little more about the man behind such impeccable style and one-of-a-kind threads. Well now is your chance to get a sneak peak into his twisted mental! A couple of years ago I conducted an episode of my documentary series The Yellow Brick Road which featured the young guru. Man, It’s really a treat to view any of Tyler The Creator’s interviews just because of the simple fact that he doesn’t give one flying blue jay about the situation at hand. This latest Noisey sit-down though was a much pleasant surprise! After a friendly game of paintball with a group of disguised fans, the pink dolphin hater took time to answer some questions that he even found fascinating (a miracle right?).

I must say J. Cole has really transformed himself into a living embodiment of inspiration and his latest creation only adds wind to the ‘cole world’ storm that is taking over the Hip Hop community. The ‘Born Sinner’ series was curated by the North Carolina spitter and serves as a personal visual diary that’ll be released each week until his highly anticipated sophomore album ‘Born Sinner’ on June 25th.

What’s super effective about this project is that instead of video, b&w photography is intricately utilized to convey real life stories. It’s like fully comprehending a piece of musical composition without any distortions….think about it.

Entrepreneur extraordinaire Pharrell Williams have teamed up once again with Designer Mark McNairy to conceive an idea that Jay Z would truly be fond of, a line that consists of nothing but black threads! The garments will be part of Billionaire Boys Club goods and will hold the name ‘BBC Black’. What makes this effort so spectacular is that it fuses together Crye Military performance fabrics into fresh everyday streetwear styles.

The homie Bernard Gifford (in the middle of the pic above) who exclusively works with Mr. McNasty himself gave me a heads up about this project last week and I didn’t know that it would of came out this dope. I’m gonna have to holla at him about getting some pieces ASAP!

Life Long

Ahhhh, finally the homie Rockie Fresh has decided to release the visual for one of my favorite cuts titled “Life Long” from his stellar project Electric Highway. It’s really amazing to witness the newly signed MMG spitter’s success! Felt like it was yesterday since I first encountered him at the BAPE store alongside some Karmaloop videographers as they were planning to shoot some candid scenes. The passion was in his eyes then and is surely still ablaze now.

From Puma deals to releasing yet another mixtape, I wonder what the young chi-town smooth talker has up his sleeves now. While we patiently wait for that magic trick, peep the latest effort with General Ricky Rozay and young snoop dogg incarnate Nipsey Hussle below:

California’s good kid literally took it to to church to shoot the visual for one of his most praised tunes titled “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe”. The metaphorical footage features an unlikely cast that even includes funny-man Mike Epps. Kendrick is far from conventional and this clips truly delivers a powerful message for today’s youth that are drowning in their own pool of liquor and recklessness.

Hypetrak recently released the visual of a sit-down they conduced with Harlem’s own ASAP Ferg discussing an array of subjects from the Mob’s origins all the way down to his forthcoming project rightfully titled TRAP LORD.

It’s cool to see Ferg’s progression in this rap arena. Felt like yesterday since I initially got acquainted with the thug pope during my lunch time at a local deli in SoHo. He actually recognized me first from working at BAPE and pronounced his love for the brand as well as his own fashion endeavors. I didn’t even have a clue that he spit until I saw him rolling with Rocky not too long after that first meeting. One surely can’t undermine the heart of a hustler!

Red Ink 2013 European Tour

It is my pleasure to announce that my favorite Aussie band RED INK are once again heading overseas to tour! Those of you who have been following me from the beginning are aware that I have been covering the sensational rock group ever since meeting my best friend/artist JOSH JAKQ. See, Josh’s older brother John is the lead singer so it’s natural that I got acquainted with his collective’s sound.

Keepin’ it totally clean, I didn’t know much info on Philly Rapper Bonic other than his shopping sprees at BAPE NYC with close comrade Rich Hil. A couple of days ago he dropped a visual for his single with Californicating spitter Dom Kennedy titled ‘Cheerios’ and I must admit the joint is pretty kosher (means ‘worthy’ for my non-hood readers).

The Joseph Zentil directed clip seemingly takes place in the land of the chill (LA) which serves as the perfect setting for the song’s effortlessly rhythmic vibe.

A&F Discriminates

Woop woop, pull over that ass is too fat! Well at least that’s what Abercrombie & Fitch’s CEO Mike Jeffries believe. A few days ago I discovered that the “all-american” clothing retailer does not provide garments for the booty-liscious shorties out there! That’s preposterous because in my mind women truly run the world….especially if they got the cake cake cake cake.

A&F doesn’t carry a size XL or XXL for women while their biggest competitors, H&M and American Eagle provides up to an XXL. Mike Jeffries really believe that having such strong skinny and “hot” consumer target will attract more gorgeous people of the world to buy his products. Not a pretty bad tactic BUT not everyone in this world is superficial and will agree on this method. I mean damn, can you imagine a society where the “physically challenged” get ostracized even more?!

I’m all about living a positive, healthy lifestyle but the only way we can get others to follow such path is support and encouragement. Where’s Nelly and his Apple bottom jeans when you really need him?!!
